To be responsible for daily maintenance on a wide range of CNC & PLC controlled machines and equipment.
Will include day to day electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification, planned preventative maintenance activities and process improvements.
Support the Toolroom function. Perform tasks on or around a Die Casting Machine whilst following all safety procedures. Support the Foundry Production Process.
To prepare high pressure dies for production. To change dies & set the machine to the correct process parameters. To work closely with the Process & Toolroom engineers to solve any die or process issues as they arise. Starts the machine after the set to ensure all process parameters are correct & that good parts are passed off by quality before handing the machine over to production. To assist with the training & development of die casting operatives.
